1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Poyse ("the Service"), operated by Poyse LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Poyse is an AI-powered decision coaching application that guides users through structured thinking using the OODA framework (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act). The Service is available via web browser and mobile applications.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Poyse offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass security measures, rate limits, or access controls
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
  • Share, resell, or redistribute access to your account
  • Submit content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or that violates the rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Poyse uses artificial intelligence to provide decision coaching guidance. AI responses are not professional advice. The Service does not provide financial, legal, medical, or therapeutic advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on interactions with the Service. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Always consult qualified professionals for important financial, legal, or medical decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Poyse LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poyse LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or legitimate business purposes.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
